MPH - Community and Behavioral Health Promotion
I come to Milwaukee from UW Oshkosh where I received my bachelors degrees in Sociology and Women's Studies with a minor in African American Studies. I am a Master of Public Health student in the Community and Behavior Health Promotion track. I am currently serving as the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator for the Public Health Graduate Student Association and am employed by the Women's Resource Center as a Project Assistant on the UWM Kenwood Campus. I am also the facilitator for "Phenomenal Woman," the first women of color-focused domestic violence support group for Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services in Oshkosh, WI. My academic and professional interests and work include HIV/AIDS counseling, testing and referrals, domestic violence advocacy and global women's health. Upon graduation, I would like to travel abroad and work toward improving women's health outcomes and access to maternal education and care.
