There are numerous different styles of yoga. At Klotsche we offer two styles of yoga: Yoga Essentials, which is a gently paced class based in hatha yoga and CorePower Yoga, which is a more vigorously paced class based in asthanga and vinyasa styles of yoga. Students are encouraged to try both classes in order to find one that fits their needs best.

Classes are not competitive:

A "good" practice is defined as whatever one's body and mind are capable of giving on a specific day. Respect and honor your body by not pushing past your limits of strength and flexibility. Stay present in the process and not obsessed with the outcome. Yoga practice is about letting go of competitiveness with others and yourself.

Physical assisting is part of many Mind & Body classes:

Your instructor may move your body with their hands in order to help you to find the correct alignment. If you feel uncomfortable with being physically assisted in class, please let your instructor know.

Class Etiquette:

Try to arrive at class on time, if you are late please enter the room quietly. Please be respectful of the other students by keeping talking to a minimum during class.

New Students:

If it is your first class it is best to arrive early so you can discuss any injuries, medical conditions or other concerns with your instructor. It is important to notify your instructor if you are pregnant so poses can be modified appropriately to insure a safe practice. (CorePower Yoga is not suggested for pregnancy)
