| Meredith Reitman is an Assistant Professor
in Geography and the Urban Studies Program. She teaches Geography of
Race in the US, Introduction to Human Geography at the undergraduate
level; Race, Justice and the City and Internal Structure of the City at
the graduate level. Professor Reitman received her PhD in Geography
from the University of Washington, her MA in Geography from UCLA, and
her BA in Geography and Economics from Vassar College. At the
University of Washington, she won an award for outstanding teaching
assistant. Professor Reitman’s nominator stated, “she is genuinely concerned about my accommodations and maintains good contact with me about my progress in her class.” When asked her thoughts on teaching, Professor Reitman stated, “my students energize me, challenge me and support me. I am continually thankful to them.” |
