Hello There!
I graduated from the Interpreter Training Program at the University of
Wisconsin- Milwaukee in 2003 where I also obtained a degree in
Exceptional Education. I have worked in multiple settings before
returning to UWM to join the Student Accessibility Center Deaf and Hard
of Hearing Program as a full time staff interpreter and C-Print
captionist. In addition, I became a part-time community interpreter for
Professional Interpreting Enterprise (PIE) and a video relay
interpreter for Sorenson Communications.
In my free time, I love to do a variety of things. First I love to
travel. When I am not traveling I like to spend time outdoors, either
(but not limited to) hiking, camping, swimming, boating or working out.
I also appreciate just curling up with a blanket and a good book,
hanging out with friends or catching a movie.
I am sure this is going to be a great year and I look forward to seeing
you all around on campus!!
