The Interpreter Training Program and the
Student Accessibility Center's Deaf/Hard of Hearing Program at the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee administer RID Certification tests
in accordance with RID's policies.
Our testing schedule is now online. Remember, only what is available
will be posted, and slots do fill quickly. You may also check the RID
website for a list of other testing supersites.
To
schedule a date to take the NIC Performance/Interview,
SC:L Performance, or CDI Performance:
- You must have your
confirmation letter from RID before scheduling a test.
- Follow this link: Schedule
a Test. You may only choose from test dates and times that appear
on the calendar.
- Watch for
confirmation of your scheduled test via email within one week. If you
have questions, please respond to the email.
- SC:L - Written: will be offered
June 25 from 9am to Noon. To register, please follow the link for
"Schedule a Test" and select
Other.
- CDI - Written: will be offered June 25 from 9am to
Noon. This test
date is for SC:L and CDI written only.

Factor limiting the availabiity of
test dates: Availability of the Local Test Administrators (LTAs) and
the availability of the testing room. Our LTAs are interpreters,
instructors and project managers, in addition to volunteering to
proctor exams.
