I find it very exciting to be a part of this dynamic staff. I have been at UWM since 1994, teaching in the Interpreter Training Program before I joined the D/HH Program in 2004.  Being an interpreter in the university classroom allows me to be a lifelong learner.  I am also involved in our in-house staff mentoring program (Pre-CAMP, Pre-certified Associate Mentoring Program) which supports non-certified staff members to achieve RID-NAD national credentials.

Professional Credentials

Certificate of Transliteration(CT), Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (1998)
Certificate of Interpretation(CI), Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (1998)
CSC, Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (1985)
MA in Linguistics of American Sign Language from Gallaudet University
BA in Communications in a Technological Society from Sangamon State University
