Construction on Campus That Affects Access

 

There seems to always be construction somewhere on campus, and often it affects accessibility for students and staff with mobility challenges. If we are notified of construction ahead of time, we will post the details here. If you encounter an access problem due to construction and don't see anything about it here, please notify our Webmaster, call us at 229-6287 or stop by the SAC office.

Mitchell Hall Elevator

The Mitchell Hall Elevator will be out of service on Tuesday 11/24/09 to install a new floor.  The contractor will open the elevator to pedestrian traffic when he is done, but all heavy wheeled traffic should not enter the elevator until 12/25.
 
 For disabled & delivery access to Mitchell 1st floor, use the Mellencamp elevator.  For access to the 2nd & 3rd floors, use the Curtin Hall elevator. The basement can be accessed via the ramp in the back of the building.
