LTE Opportunities at UWM

Interpreter: 
The UWM Deaf/Hard of Hearing (D/HH) Program is always looking to increase their LTE pool of sign language interpreters.  If you meet the qualifications stated below, feel free to request an appointment with Amy Hogle by phone at (414) 229-2344 or by e-mail at hogle@uwm.edu.  The appointment will involve a casual interview and a discussion of the LTE position to determine if the UWM D/HH Program is a good fit for you. 

Minimum Qualifications: WITA 1/1
Preferred Qualifications: National Certification and a Bachelor’s Degree

Captionist: 
The UWM Deaf/Hard of Hearing (D/HH) Program is always looking to increase their LTE pool of speech-to-text service providers (captionists).  If you meet the qualifications stated below, please feel free to request an appointment with Shannon Aylesworth by phone at (414) 229-3340 or by e-mail at aylessr@uwm.edu.  The appointment will involve a casual interview and a discussion of the position to determine if the UWM D/HH Program is a good fit for you.

Minimum Qualifications: Completion of C-Print Captionist Training
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree

Experience working with students who are Deaf or hard of hearing
