I attended UWM for my Bachelor's degree in
Exceptional Education and for the Interpreter Training Program. I
graduated in May 2004 and was hired as a full-time staff interpreter
that August. I quickly jumped into the field and have become
completely enthralled in my work ever since. In addition, I
became a part-time community interpreter for Professional Interpreting
Enterprise (PIE) during the summer 2008. Wow, time flies! I
am excited to be a part of a fun, yet very dedicated group of
individuals here in the DHH Program who strive to provide equal
accessibility.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors whether it is 80 or 20 degrees
outside. I live for the thrill of taking rides on my motorcycle
and the chill of shreddin' a stellar mountain.
I am sure this is going to be a great year and I look forward to seeing
you all around on campus!!
