SPRING SEMESTER FUNDING
The Senate Appropriations Committee bylaws stipulate that a meeting be held in November to allocate funds for student organization grant requests over $700 for the period of January 1 – June 30, 2005. Unfortunately the committee has not set this meet date as of yet, but these grant request forms will be due two weeks prior to the date when it is set. DON’T WAIT FOR THE MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT! Start working on you spring expenses now. There are no special forms, use the current grant forms located in the rack outside the Center for Student Involvement (350 union) or download from www.uwm.edu/Dept/SOAR/Finance/SAC/SACForms.html. You can turn these requests in at anytime, you do not have to wait for the meeting announcement. If you miss the deadline for this meeting, you will be limited to requesting $700 or less because SAC is only allowed to grant more than $700 at semester grant meeting held in November and April per their bylaws.
