3rd Annual Block Party

Hello,

On behalf of PFOC, I would like to invite your student organization to participate in the 3rd Annual Block Party, hosted by the Student Association. The event is Saturday, April 24th, 2010 2pm-10pm. There will be approximately 15 booths available for student organizations at the Block Party. Student Organizations must apply for a booth (MS Word), we will consider applications and decide which ones best suit the Block Party’s needs.

This is a great opportunity for the community to learn about your organization, as well as a great fund-raising opportunity as there will be hundreds of students attending. Please submit the form as early as possible for consideration. The due date is Friday, April the 3rd. Any further questions can be directed to PFOC Chair Aaron Jeske: aljeske@uwm.edu.

And lastly, we would appreciate any donations from your organization for the relief for Haiti. If you are interested in helping this cause, please reply with your pledge amount and organization's name.

Thank you,

Anahit Campbell

11th Annual Housing Fair

Date: Wednesday, April 14th
Time: 10:00-3:00pm
Where: UWM Union Concourse

What: To kick off the new rental season the Neighborhood Housing Office invites area landlords to come to campus and preview the units they are going to have available for summer and fall 2010. This is a great opportunity for students to get to know some of the area landlords and get an idea of the rental market in the UWM neighborhoods. This event is ideal for students who are looking for a summer lease, as we recommend you begin your housing search 2-3 months before you want to move into a unit. Landlords who will be attending the Housing Fair include Metro Investments, Papermaster Properties, The Park at 1824, Bieck Management, Bear Paw Management, Palmetto LLC, East River LLC, Sarah Kretchmar, Taxman Properties, Northland, Wellston, Dan Mehail, River East Apartments, Campus Advantage (2040 Lofts), and Kenilworth Square.
