DON'T SPEND IT YET – Large Grant Funds Spending Timeline
If SAC approved grant funding for your group at the large grant meeting in April – STOP AND WAIT. The money is not actually approved yet. First the funding must be approved by the Student Senate and then approved by the SA president. These approvals have not yet occurred, sometimes due to the SA election and turnover – it does not happen until June. STILL WAIT – Even when the Senate and the President approves the funds, you cannot spend the money UNTIL JULY 2010. The April Large Grant meeting allocates funds for the NEXT FISCAL YEAR and will not be available until July 1, 2010. Please remember, YOU WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED FOR ANY EXPENSE THAT OCCURS PRIOR TO JULY 1, 2010. Please tell everyone in your group that were involved in the grant request. There are no exceptions to this rule.

(Incomplete forms will not be considered submitted by the deadline)
June 10 Last day to submit a reimbursement request.
June 14 Last day to submit an order which requires a check to be cut.
June 23 Last day to submit an order which can be paid for by Visa.
June 23 Last day to submit an office supply order.

Risk management is going to purge the list of authorized drivers in June.
