Student Organization Printing Policy:
Below is a reminder of the Student Organization printer policy. If there are any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Alan Williams, CSI Technology Manager at x7222, or send an e-mail to sao-it@uwm.edu.
Student organizations on the 3rd floor of the Union are allowed the use of a printer located outside of Union 399. Other student organizations on campus have the use of other printers in their respective areas. If you do not have access to a printer and would like to either request one or request access to one please email sao-it@uwm.edu.
We want our students to assist us in being good stewards of these resources. Part of this stewardship is to use these printers for their intended purpose, which are student organization related purposes. Printing anything other than the official business of the student organization is prohibited, and all printing will be monitored.
Violations will be applied in a “three strikes” fashion, and will result in loss of printing privileges as described below:
1st offense: Warning to student
2nd offense: Warning to student plus notification to Center for Student Involvement (CSI) and Technology Manager
3rd Offense: Student loses printing privileges for the semester, notification to CSI and student organization officer
If homework needs to be printed out, please make use of the computer lab in the Union on the first floor (W199).
