SARUP students win awards in 2011 AIAS/Kawneer Design Competition

The AIAS and Kawneer have announced the winners of the 2011 Crisis Ready Stadium Student Design Competition. Students were asked to design a stadium that could be utilized to serve as not only centers of entertainment, but havens of refuge during crisis, such as a category 5 hurricane. Kawneer and the AIAS were looking for weather resistive and comprehensible design aspects, originality, and the utilization of Kawneer building products. SARUP students John Melby and Caleb Fisher both won awards, under the guidance of Nicolas Cascarano.
