Nicolas Cascarano Wins United States Fallen Heroes Memorial Design Competition

Alumnus and Adjunct Professor Nicolas Cascarano (M.Arch 1991), principal at Arquitectura, Inc., has won the national competition sponsored by United States Fallen Heroes Foundation, to design a "living memorial" that will honor servicemen and women of all branches of the United States military who have given their lives in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, & Operation Enduring Freedom.

Nick was assisted by SARUP graduate student Joseph Richter, who contributed to the 2D and 3D modeling work.
