Thomas Vonier to be VP of UIA

Thomas Vonier FAIA RIBA, a graduate and member of the first class at SARUP, will become a vice president and member of the bureau directing the International Union of Architects (Union Internationale des Architectes - UIA) in Paris
Established in 1948, the UIA represents the professional organizations of architects in 124 countries and territories, encompassing some 1.3 million architects worldwide.
The head of an architecture consulting practice based in Europe, Vonier is also serving a term as regional vice president (Europe) for ASIS International, the global professional security organization. He is a member of the board of directors of the American Institute of Architects.
