Research NOW: Using a Wide Range of Data Points as the Basis of Good Design

Presentation by Joe Valerio, UWM/SARUP Associate Professor 1974-85; Randy Mattheis, UWM/SARUP BSAS 1984; Matt Dumich, UWM/SARUP MArch 2003. A wide range of built work by Valerio Dewalt Train will be used to explain the firm's methods to base their designs on user research. Projects will include higher education, K-12 schools, retail, and housing. The presentation will be an introduction to a four year summer internship program the firm will be sponsoring at UWM.
