SARUP Students win competition for zero net energy building design

Students Curtis Ryan, Sara Maas, Kyle Blomquist and Megan Gelazus were one of four winners in the Architecture at Zero competition, sponsored by AIA San Francisco and the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E).

Their project "Ripple Effect" addressed the design challenge in this international, open ideas compeition, to create a mixed-use building or set of buildings that included housing, retail space and a new public library branch.
