Rob Henken, Adjunct Professor
Rob Henken is the president of the Public Policy Forum, a 100-year-old non-partisan think tank dedicated to fact-based public policy research on key issues facing Southeastern Wisconsin. Since joining the Forum in 2008, Henken has authored two reports that won national awards from the Governmental Research Association – one on the Milwaukee County Transit System’s fiscal crisis, and the other an analysis of structural reform in Milwaukee County government. He was named one of Milwaukee’s 100 most influential leaders by The Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee in 2012. Henken previously worked in Milwaukee County Government for 10 years, serving as Director of Research for the County Board, Director of Health and Human Services, and Director of Administrative Services. Hel also worked for seven years on Capitol Hill as a senior aide to two congressmen and as staff director for a House of Representatives foreign affairs subcommittee.
