Christine Scott Thomson, Plunkett Raysich Visiting Professor

Bio
Christine Scott Thomson holds a Master of Architecture degree and a Masters of Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. She received a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Urban studies from Brown University. She is currently a visiting professor and maintains work within the professional realm at Plunkett-Raysich Architects. She is an architect focusing on urban development, brownfield reclamation and green architecture at the urban scale.

Ms. Thomson‟s expertise is in urban and architectural design with a focus on sustainability. She teaches, practices, and speaks on these topics locally and internationally. Ms. Thomson specializes in new town and urban development, community revitalization plans, as well as mixed-use and housing projects. She teaches introductory architectural design studios, and advanced studios that are unique educational experiences with travel, expertise from practicing architects, and international collaboration that explores the intersection between urban and architectural design.
