His design studios engage students in projects located in sensitive urban settings, where the physical fabric needs to be safeguarded or restored and the precedents of the place demand compatibility with the existing surrounding.

Students in Professor Weber's Studios undertake design projects and the search for distinct and uniquely appropriate environs, that befit the climate and the cultural, visual and spatial precedents of a context. These design inquiries generally focus on the morphology of buildings with an emphasis on the building enclosure.
