Master of Urban Planning (MUP)
The Master of Urban Planning (MUP) is a professional program designed to prepare students for careers in Urban Planning in the public or private sectors. This two-year program is fully accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board (PAB). No specific undergraduate background is required for admission to this degree program, although many students come from backgrounds in Architecture, Geography, or other social sciences.
The Department of Urban Planning also offers coordinated degree programs with architecture (M.Arch/MUP), engineering (MS/MUP) and public administration (MPA/MUP). See Coordinated Degrees for further information on these programs.
