Master of Urban Planning (MUP)
The Master of Urban Planning (MUP) is a professional program designed to prepare students for careers in public planning agencies, nonprofit organizations or in private practice. This two-year program is fully accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board (PAB). No specific undergraduate background is required for admission to this degree program, although many students come from backgrounds in Architecture, Geography, Political Science, or other social sciences.

The School of Architecture and Urban Planning offers a number of opportunities for high school students to work with our students, faculty, the local community, and professionals in architecture and planning. The Urban Planning Department offers the PUPS (pre-urban planners) program for urban youth.
