  Web Design Certificate
Effective web page and site development requires a broad understanding of good design criteria, information organization and an understanding of the technologies that make web sites successful. The Website Design Track gives students the skills and understanding to design sites that communicate effectively, are accessible to the widest audience and are attractively designed.

The program concentrates on hands-on skill building with an emphasis on effective site construction and consistent page design. The track includes an overview of how to create websites that communicate effectively, and covers information flow, designing pages and building web graphics. Once students have completed the certificate in Web Design, they have the skills needed to maintain existing sites and develop new sites from the ground up.

For those pursuing the certificate program, ten courses are required (6 core and 4 electives). Two-day courses count as two towards the certificate.

Note: For those with prior experience, those courses can be substituted.
