This session incorporates management strategies as well infuses best practices in implementing techniques used to coordinate and increase in-class processes for integrating and providing ways to reduce children's disciplinary actions, drop-out rates, seclusions, etc.
Integrate trauma sensitivity into classroom management strategies
Coordinate trauma-informed approaches into ongoing strategies such as RTL and Positive Behavioral Supports relative to reducing disruption, seclusion and restraint, suspension and discipline and drop-out rates
Provide trauma-proofing for all students for acute and chronic trauma experience
Increase staff understanding how physical and procedural conditions in class can exacerbate trauma response
