Design Your Own Papers for Art and Décor

Experiment with surface design materials and techniques to create unique layers of color and texture on papers that can be used in altered books, collages, one-of-a-kind personalized books, scrapbooks and journals. Use paints, stamping and texturing tools, brushes, transparent materials, threads, wires and other interesting collectibles. The finished product will be a collection of decorative papers, and a simple photo album that offers many possibilities as an artist book.

More

You may bring copies of your favorite photos (wallet size to 5x7). Results are superior to purchased papers.

Most supplies are included, however, the instructor asked that you bring the following.

-Notebook or sketchbook, pens & pencils to take lots of notes!
-A roll of paper towels and a small bottle of water for clean up
purposes. We'll be using paint in small palettes, and will need the above for cleaning brushes and hands -A folder or flat container (plastic project box, a low cardboard box
etc) to protect your papers for transport home.
