Introduction to Wastewater Treatment

 
Obtain a fundamental background in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment from theory through practical applications with real-world case studies. The course is intended to provide a foundation for understanding the Clean Water Act; a description of typical wastewater characteristics including sampling and analytical procedures; and an understanding of wastewater treatment consisting of both physical/chemical and biological treatment processes.

The course is ideal for students, design engineers, wastewater plant operators, managers, supervisors, and technical persons interested in gaining a working understanding of the basic principles of wastewater treatment.
