Intermediate Japanese

 

This course will be the equivalent of Japanese 301 at a college. It targets students who have finished four semesters of college level Japanese or people who finished the beginning Japanese textbook.

The goal of this course will be, as the foreword of a textbook says, "to solidity the grammar, vocabulary and kanji foundation built during students' study at the beginner level." Also " to expand their four language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and the socio-cultural knowledge they need for communication, thereby easing their transition to advanced Japanese.

The goal of this course will be, as the forward of a textbook states, "to solidity the grammar, vocabulary and kanji foundation built during students' study at the beginner level." During this course, the students objective will "expand their four language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and the socio-cultural knowledge they need for communication, thereby easing their transition to advanced Japanese.
