	Romeo and Juliet, an Early Shakespearean Lyric Tragi-Comedy and Modern Cultural Icon

	Week 1 will be an introduction to each other, Shakespeare and Romeo and Juliet. Week 2 will be an examination of the play as an early Shakespearean lyric tragi-comedy. Week 3 will focus on its lyrical style and function. Week 4 will be a look at Romeo and Juliet as a modern cultural icon. Presenter: Bruce R. Stark, Ph.D. Associate Professor Emeritus, taught undergraduates for over 40 years in France, Israel, India and UWM. He looks forward to working with adults as he did in Columbia, Cornell, Madison and in the Army.
