The importance of stars as a basic building block of life will be discussed, as well as how space and astronomy can be easily accessible to everyone, even under city lights. Besides the four classroom sessions, this course will include one planetarium visit on a Friday night and one star-gazing night on a Wednesday night, dates TBA. Presenter: Kathy Brehmer retired as the Manager of Budget for the Milwaukee Area Technical College in 2009.
