Shakespeare's Tempest: Features, Approaches and Productions

 
Week 1 will be an introduction to each other, Shakespeare and The Tempest. Week 2 will cover The Tempest's basic story and back stories while Week 3 will cover the play's romance, neoclassical and comedic features. Week 4 will cover various approaches to the play including biographical, post-colonial, feminist and creative. Please note Dale Gutzman's Off the Wall production March 29-April 18.

Presenter: Bruce R. Stark, Ph.D. Associate Professor Emeritus, taught undergraduates for over 40 years in France, Israel, India and UWM. He looks forward to working with adults as he did in Columbia, Cornell, Madison and in the Army.
