Spanish Language and Culture Institute for Middle School Students

Spanish is spoken by more than 400 million people world-wide in 21 different countries; it is the second most widely spoken language after Mandarin and one of the six official languages of the United Nations. This two-day course will cover language, culture and history of the varying regions where Spanish is spoken; as well as a focus on the growing number of Spanish speakers in the United States and how that influences the future of everyone. No prerequisite required
