jQuery Jumpstart

 

jQuery lets web designers and developers improve usability and interactivity of a web page with a simple library of functions. You don't have to be a professional programmer to learn jQuery. This class will get you started using jQuery, help you understand how it fits into the browser development toolkit and introduce you to some basic functions.

Take this course individually or as part of the Web or Mobile Certificate programs.

  Topics Include:
  • What is jQuery and what are the benefits?
  • How jQuery uses the Document Object Model (DOM)
  • Basic jQuery syntax
  • Handling events with jQuery
  • Dynamic presentations
