Drawing with Color

 
Understanding and using color in drawings is the focus of this class with Ammar Nsoroma. Learn some color theory and how color helps create space and feeling in a drawing. Practice using different media including colored pencils, chalk, oil pastels and markers. Learn the attributes of each medium and how to use them to draw the way you want to draw.

Suggested Supply List:
A pad of newsprint 50-100 sheets 18" x24"
A pad of pastel/charcoal paper 24sheets 18" x24"
Ebony pencils or graphite sticks
eraser optional
Box of soft pastels, maybe 12
Box of oil pastels 8-12
A few hard pastels or pastel pencils for detail

Instructor will suggest and share other materials in class.
