Introduction to Child Care - School Age (non-credit) Available Online

 

This is an introductory course for school-age workers who are new to the field of school-age (ages 5-12 years) and afterschool care that enables participants to begin working effectively with youth ages 5 to 12. To receive the Registry Certificate, all course assignments must be completed within the course timeline. This course is a DCF Approved school-age only equivalent to Introduction to the Child Care Profession, and it is being offered in partnership with the UWM Center for Early Childhood Professional Development and Leadership.
