Bogart Films

Humphrey Bogart: He’s #1 on the American Film Industry’s list of “Legends of Film.”  View and study his films during this five week course.  Because so many of his major films are regularly presented on TV film channels, we’ll look at several that are not as frequently shown: “Petrified Forest,”  “Big Sleep,” “Treasure of Sierra Madre,”  “Caine Mutiny,” and “African Queen.”  These selections also demonstrate the variety of character types Bogart played and that earned him the “Legend” honor.
