Afterschool/School-Age Curricular Framework Training

 

Learn resources for building fun, innovative and academically enriching activities in afterschool settings. Review how to intentionally design an activity so that it extends student knowledge and supports program’s goals for school-age children. As an afterschool youth worker, course content will assist you in developing thoughtful, engaging and exciting programs.

Benefits and Learning Outcomes

  • Build understanding of how to sequence activities and programs into a comprehensive curricular framework
  • Learn to observe programs to determine new activities that meet the needs of children and youth
  • Reflect and refine implementation of daily program activities
