Water as the Stuff of Life and Business

 

Water is the stuff of life … and business.  It’s critical to human wellbeing and economic development.  Water risks are increasingly capturing the attention of businesses and investors.  Stakeholder concerns and expectations of corporate water management practices have never been higher.  Is your business prepared to face the water challenges of the 21st century?

The goal of this capacity building course to:

  • provide an overview of the links between ecosystems and business;
  • assist businesses in assessing and managing business impacts on ecosystems;
  • provide an overview of water risks to business; and
  • assist businesses in identifying and implementing water tools and initiatives that will meet their needs and ensure the sustainability of water resources. 

Who Should Attend:  This course is intended for business owners, managers, supervisors and key stakeholders interested in gaining a working understanding of the intersection of sustainability, water security, and business continuity.
