	Introduction to Chinese and Its Culture; Gr. K5-2, 3-5, 6-8

	It could be that before too long most people will be expected to know at least some Chinese. China is a global giant just beginning to slowly open itself to the world. Develop basic language skills in a Chinese-speaking environment. Learn to listen and speak in Mandarin Chinese and read and write in Pinyin Chinese. Chinese culture will be discussed too.
