	Japanese Immersion; Gr. 9-12

	*This year our classes will run all day for one week for grades 9-12. We want the students to be immersed in the language and come away with a one- of-kind language experience.* Spend a week of your summer studying Japanese language and culture. Immerse in Japanese basic language including manga (animation or comic book) while you experience mini culture such as Tanabata (the star festival), Undokai(sport festival), shodo, origami, wearing kimono’s and much more. Find friends who like Japanese language and culture and network with them. Japanese language is a useful and beautiful language. Learning Japanese will help you get the most out of international travel, improve your current knowledge of language and culture, and prepare your future for whatever field you choose. If a week long experience does not fit your schedule, check out what SCE Languages has to offer for teens! These language courses meet weekly for six weeks - Chinese, French, German, Japanese & Korean.

College for Kids/Teens Summer 2013 Office
