History and Nature in Lake Park New Class

The one Milwaukee park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted that fully retains his design, is Lake Park.  The roads, paths, bridges, meadows and natural areas in his 1893 plan are still in place. But there are even older structures, too – one more than 150 years old and another, approximately 2000. This Go Explore excursion consists of a lecture followed by a stroll through the park the next day, highlighting historical structures and unique vegetation.
