	WMELS (3-Week Online Workshop)

	The Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) Workshop is designed to help early childhood teachers, care providers, administrators and families use WMELS as a guide for providing quality early care and education for young children throughout the state of Wisconsin. The activities, handouts, resources and materials contained in the workshop provide a comprehensive overview of WMELS and guide participants with integrating the standards within the curricular framework of their classrooms and programs.
More ▼ The emphasis is on intentional teaching, the teaching cycle and assessment, which can immediately be put to use in a program. Participants explore the developmental domains and continuum through access to presentations, readings and resources, and through active participation in discussions, information sharing, written assignments and a cumulative case study.
