Afterschool/School-Age Curricular Framework Training New Class

 

Offered through the SCE Youth Work Learning Center, the Curricular Framework Training is designed to give school-age program staff the resources they need to build fun, innovative and academically enriching activities that not only engage students, but also extend their knowledge in new ways. Experiences and activities that are intentionally designed to support a program's goals for school-age children ensure that time is used fully and effectively.

Benefits and Learning Outcomes

  • Understanding of key ideas and concepts in a curricular framework
  • Ability to make decisions on how to assess needs and how to incorporate new knowledge into current practice
  • Reflect upon and refine implementation of a school-age curricular framework
  • Put back-home applications to work in programs successfully
