WiSE Breakfast Series - May 1, 2014 - Navigating the Intergenerational Workforce

"When I was a kid, I walked uphill to school, both ways, in the snow." We’ve all heard it before – the playful mocking of an older generation. But the reality behind the teasing is that there is a difference between how things were once done and how today's society operates. With life spans increasing, many generations are present in the workplace:

  • Veterans (born 1922-1945)
  • Baby Boomers (born 1946-1964)
  • Generation X (born 1965-1980)
  • Generation Y (born 1981-2000)

Bridget Henk has already earned impressive accolades as a young engineer. Join her for a lively discussion on how to positively engage each generation, facilitate communication, capitalize on strengths and ultimately, strengthen your business.
