The Business of Fashion: June 13

Fashionistas, rejoice! Even though Milan is 4,500 miles away, we have fashion experts right here in Milwaukee and we’re bringing six of them together for some chic conversation on the business of fashion. It’s more than handbags and hanger appeal – we’ll cover consumer trends, the latest in fashion business intelligence, new and luxury brands, distribution channels, and of course, the biggest question in the industry: what’s next?

Proudly Sponsored by Neroli Salon & Spa.

Tammy Baldwin – Legislative Issues Facing Women: Date TBA

Wisconsin Democrat Tammy Baldwin has represented Wisconsin’s Second Congressional District, served on the Wisconsin Assembly, worked as a Dane County supervisor, and just last November, was elected to the United States Senate. As the first woman senator from Wisconsin and the first openly gay member of the Senate, she has been making history ever since. Join us for a candid question and answer session with Senator Tammy Baldwin.

Women Athletes: Nov. 14

From Martina and Serena to Annika and Danica, female athletes have grown into one-name wonders known worldwide. As we mark the 40th anniversary of Title IX, – a law that created a women's sports culture awash in opportunity – it's the perfect time to pause, reflect and ask this panel of wonder women about all of their secrets to success.
