Risk and Resiliency Factors in Youth


Examine the concepts of risk and resiliency in child and youth development. Learn how youth work and youth programs address issues of risk and promote resiliency. Discover how individual characteristics such as temperament, personality, social and emotional skills, family, poverty, and ethnicity affect a youth’s help-seeking behaviors and ability to build and call upon support from family, youth workers, teachers and other caring adults.

This course is eligible for the WACYCP member discount.
