The Ethics of Drones

This is your opportunity to explore social and ethical issues related to the use of drones – present and future. Class one: How do we make ethical decisions? Look at some of the major approaches, and apply them to a basic scenario, developing insight about how you make ethical decisions. Class two: How do drones work? See how this impacts our decisions about how we use them. Then use classes three and four to take a look at how we are using drones, and what ethical issues are attached to these uses, both military and non-military. Share your conclusions in small group discussion that centers on key issues.
