Adventures in History: The Making of Modern America

 

Life in the United States changed dramatically from the 1880’s to World War I. Industrialization, urbanization and immigration helped shape a new era. Look at historical highlights – politically, socially and culturally. Hear fascinating stories of women and men who made history – from captains of industry and robber barons to inventors, reformers, literary lions and the journalists who reported it all.
