Serverside Scripting for the Web New Class

 

This is introductory class for server side scripting. Get introduced to using a server-side scripting language and the basic programming constructs in PHP. The course prepares you to begin maintaining basic PHP programs and routines on a standard web page.

This course can be taken individually or as part of the Web Development Certificate Program.

Who Should Attend

Participants completing the Web Development Certificate Program or those looking to gain skills in database management for web pages.

Course Outline/Topics

  • Understanding fundamentals of server side scripting and XAMPP web server
  • Using PHP statements, conditional logic and loops using variables, data types, Strings and Arrays
  • Using PHP Functions, Classes and Objects, Object overloading and exception handling.
  • Creating PHP forms and persist data to create dynamic web pages.
