	HTML Part I

	This is the first in a two part series of courses on HTML. Student will learn how to use HTML code to create a basic web page with formatted text, images and links. This course also teaches how to edit more complicated web pages and explores the construction of HTML as a language and how to work more efficiently. Take this course individually or as part of the Web Certificate program.
Course Outline/Topics ▼ Topics Covered: Overview of browser technologies: HTML, CSS and JavaScript Basic structure of Web pages Text layout using HTML Using styles to change fonts, colors and other features Creating hyperlinked pages and variations Incorporating graphics in web documents Displaying information with HTML lists Close ▲

	Prerequisites Familiarity with Windows and the process of Web browsing, no prior knowledge of Web authoring is expected
